beadm Zones Support

Caution - This document is in development for an upcoming release.

Zones partitioning technology is used to virtualize operating system services and provide an isolated and secure environment for running applications. Each OpenSolaris system is a global zone. Within a global zone, specific non-global zones can be created.

For information about creating and administering non-global zones on your system, see the zones section in the System Administration Guide: Virtualization Using the Solaris Operating System.

The beadm utility includes support for non-global zones.
