Solaris Trusted Extensions APIs and Security PolicyThe SolarisTM Trusted Extensions software (Trusted Extensions) provides application programming interfaces (APIs) that enable you to write applications that access and handle labels. This chapter summarizes the API functionality and introduces you to the Trusted Extensions security policy. For Trusted Extensions term definitions, see the glossary in the Solaris Trusted Extensions User’s Guide. For examples of how the Trusted Extensions APIs are used in the Solaris Operating System (Solaris OS), see the Solaris source code.
